RABAT, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) — Morocco dropped one spot to the 23rd place in the world following the latest International Federation of Football (FIFA) rankings released on Thursday.
Atlas Lions of Morocco are still second on the African level behind Senegal (18th).
Tunisia is in the third position (30th) on the African pecking order, followed by Nigeria (31st), Egypt (40th), Algeria (41st) and Mali (46th).
