YANGON, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) — Myanmar welcomed 42,315 foreign tourists between April and June, up 22.9 percent year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.

The Southeast Asian country resumed the operations of international commercial flights in April, and the number of tourists visiting the country gradually increased, the ministry’s figures showed.
