BIRMINGHAM, UK – Arshad Nadeem was hailed by the entire country late Sunday for his outstanding performance in the Commonwealth Games (CWG), where he won the gold medal for Pakistan in the javelin throw competition.

This is Pakistan’s second gold medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Weightlifter Nooh Dastagir Butt had previously won gold for Pakistan with a record lift of 405kg.
