YANGON, Myanmar – Residents in Yangon say Myanmar’s military has been on red alert in the city since Tuesday, following several explosions in various townships.

According to local sources, military vehicles patrolled various areas on Wednesday. Junta forces were said to be searching the area around Aung Mingalar Street in Tamwe Township after a bomb was found there on Tuesday morning.
