SYDNEY, July 4 (Xinhua) — China registered another lop-sided victory over Chinese Taipei in their final match of the first round in the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers, winning 97-56 in Melbourne on Monday.

China had previously overwhelmed Chinese Taipei 94-58 on Friday.

Du Feng’s team immediately showed their dominance in Melbourne’s John Cain Arena, taking a 20-point lead in the first quarter.
