SINGAPORE, June 22 (Xinhua) — Singapore reported 5,862 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total tally to 1,383,952.

Of the new cases, 473 cases were detected through polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests and 5,389 through antigen rapid tests (ARTs), according to statistics released by the Ministry of Health.
