ISLAMABAD, May 3 (Xinhua) — Pakistan recorded 46 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, the country’s ministry of health said on Tuesday.

The tally of infected people increased to 1,528,564 after adding the fresh cases, data released by the ministry showed.

A total of 30,372 people have died due to COVID-19 in Pakistan so far, with zero death recorded on Monday.
