MANILA, May 1 (Xinhua) — China asserted its dominance in the Badminton Asia Championships 2022 here on Sunday, winning three gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

World No. 1 and reigning world champions Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan dominated the women’s doubles, beating Japan’s Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi 21-11, 21-15 in the final.
