KATHMANDU, Nepal – At least 45 women’s rights organizations have called for action against CPN-UML mayoral candidate for Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Keshav Sthapit, claiming his recent statement against a woman who questioned him about his alleged past involvement in sexual violence was offensive.

Sthapit made an ungracious remark and attempted to assassinate the character of the person who had asked a question
