HANOI, April 26 (Xinhua) — Vietnam reported 8,431 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, up 1,014 from Monday, according to its Ministry of Health.
The new infections, recorded in 56 provinces and cities, were all domestically transmitted.
The Vietnamese capital Hanoi remained the epidemic hotspot with 937 new cases on Tuesday, followed by the northern provinces of Phu Tho with 702 and Quang Ninh with 408.
