ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah announced Friday that the newly-elected government amended rules related to the Exit Control List (ECL) and removed thousands of people from the list.

Sanaullah told reporters at his first press conference at the Interior Ministry that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had formed a committee to update the rules for putting a person’s name in the ECL.
