BAZARAK, Afghanistan, April 10 (Xinhua) — The local government of Afghanistan’s Panjshir said Sunday it has distributed more than 2,000 fruit saplings for plantation in the northeastern province.

The province’s department of agriculture, irrigation and livestock has distributed the young trees to the seven districts on a quota basis, the local government said in a statement.
