SINGAPORE, March 29 (Xinhua) — Singapore reported 8,164 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total tally to 1,085,094.

Of the new cases, 882 cases were detected through PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests and 7,282 through ART (antigen rapid test) tests, according to statistics released by the country’s Ministry of Health.
