YANGON, Myanmar – Myanmar’s shadow National Unity Government (NUG) has announced that 25 military-owned properties in Yangon will be auctioned off to raise funds for the country’s people.

The plan was announced on February 24 by the NUG, which was formed in the aftermath of last year’s coup by members of the ousted government.
