ISLAMABAD, March 7 (Xinhua) — Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan here on Monday launched a food subsidy program to provide a monthly subsidy of 30 percent on daily use commodities to 20 million households.

Under the targeted subsidy for the middle and lower middle class, the prices of flour, cooking oil among others will be considerably reduced, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
