KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported 28,825 new COVID-19 infections in the highest daily spike since the outbreak, as of midnight Saturday, bringing the national total to 3,194,848, according to the health ministry.

Among the new cases, 91 are imported and 28,734 are local transmissions, data released on the ministry’s website showed.
