HANOI, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) — Vietnam reported 15,954 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, including 15,885 locally transmitted and 69 imported, according to its Ministry of Health.

The Vietnamese capital Hanoi remained the locality with the highest number of infections on Wednesday with 2,884 cases, followed by central Da Nang city with 991 cases and northern Bac Ninh province with 865 cases.
