NEW DELHI, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) — The Chinese women’s team won the opening match of the Women’s Asia Cup, defeating Chinese Taipei 4-0 at Mumbai Football Arena stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.

The Chinese girls had a dream opening when 21-year-old Zhang Linyan earned a penalty just one minute into the game which was converted by star striker Wang Shuang.

Wang Shanshan doubled China’s lead just six minute later
