KAREN STATE, Myanmar – Karen National Union (KNU) soldiers captured seven junta troops this week near Lay Kay Kaw town in Karen State’s Myawaddy Township.

According to a report by the Karen State-based KIC news organization quoting the KNU’s Karen National Liberation Army, among the troops were two officers, including a squadron commander, who were attempting to relocate to the military-controlled territory.
