ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Pakistan’s planning minister claims that his country had fully vaccinated 70 million people in 2021.

The announcement comes as Pakistan has lately increased its immunization effort in response to the spread of the new omicron form.

Asad Umar, the Minister of Planning, took to Twitter to express his gratitude to the health personnel who helped achieve the target.
