MAGWAY, Myanmar – An army supply train was allegedly ambushed by two regional People’s Defence Force (PDF) groups in Magway Region’s Pakokku Township during the week.

The train was traveling from Pakokku to Kyun Chaung when it was struck by four explosives between the towns of Nantawyat and Htanpinkaing, according to a Pakkoku PDF information officer.
