KARACHI, Pakistan – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) intends to operate two weekly flights to Australia, cutting travel time by around one-third to and from the country.

“If it happens (flights to Australia by a Pakistani carrier), it will be the first time ever,” said PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez. “We ran the feasibility, and it appears to be favorable to the airline.”
