YANGON, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) — Myanmar reported 1,667 new COVID-19 infections with 70 more deaths in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health on Friday.

The number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 455,074 while its death toll has risen to 17,413 so far, the release said.
