COLOMBO, April 12 (Xinhua) — The wildlife population in Sri Lanka has increased unsustainably, and a leading research institute of the country has recommended the establishment of an agrarian-wildlife conflict management unit, the Agriculture Ministry said here on Wednesday.

The Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute recommended the establishment of such a unit under the ministry.
