HANOI, April 12 (Xinhua) — Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, economic hub of the country, plans to spend over 10.2 trillion Vietnamese dong (432 million U.S. dollars) on sustainable poverty-reduction programs this year, as it still had more than 21,300 poor households and 18,068 near-poor households as of 2022, local media reported on Wednesday.
