NAYPYIDAW, Myanmar – Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar’s deposed leader, has been moved from a secret detention facility to solitary confinement in a prison compound in the capital, Naypyidaw, according to a spokesman for the country’s military government.

According to Zaw Min Tun, “in accordance with criminal laws… [Aung San Suu Kyi] has been in solitary confinement in prison” since Wednesday.
