BEIJING, June 16 (Xinhua) — The China-Laos Railway, put into operation in December 2021, has helped turn the landlocked country of Laos into a land-linked hub.

The project, initiated by leaders of both countries, has facilitated travel, created opportunities for locals, and injected new impetus for regional development.
